DAV Rowghat Ispat Sr. Sec. Pubic school, Antagarh was started on 10.09.2015 with the collaboration of Steel Education Society (SES), Bhilai with 59 students in class UKG. It’s a project school fully funded by Bhilai Steel Plant management. Bhilai Steel Plant took initiative to falicitate the children of remote areas of Kanker and Narayanpur district.
School has provision of give admission to 80 students in class I every year. List of students is being provided by the collectorate of Kanker and Narayanpur district. Students belong to 22 villages of Buffer zone of Rowghat Mines Area.
Students are getting free education, transportation facility, uniform, school bag, books and note books along with nutritious food in breakfast and lunch.
The school campus is situated at the outskirts of Antagarh town.
